CivilFEM NPP specializes in the simulation of concrete nuclear facilities, including determining stresses in concrete and rebar subjected to in-plane shear/membrane forces and biaxial bending moments.

SEISMIC MARGIN ASSESMENT OF OPERATING NPP
The seismic margin methodology is designed:
to demonstrate sufficient margin beyond design basis (Safe Shut-down Earthquake SSE / Design Basic Earthquake DBE)
to identify any vulnerabilities and weak links that might limit the plant’s capability to safely withstand a seismic event larger than the SSE.
to improve seismic capacity
